H.E Dr. Dario Item currently serves as the Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda to the Kingdom of Spain, the Principality of Monaco, and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Ambassador Item was accredited by H.S.H. Prince Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein on 13 December 2018.

Legal Activities
Dr. Dario Item, attorney-at-law, joined the Cantone Ticino Lawyer Register in 1998. He then joined the Cantone Ticino Bar Association in 1999.
Ambassador Item is a member of the Swiss Federation of Lawyers and Notaries.
Since 2000, he has been working together with the multidisciplinary law firm I&P Law Office SA in Lugano.
He is also a member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the international professional body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning.
He has extensive experience and currently works in various facets of the law profession. From banking and finance, he also has expertise in the following areas:
